To place your order, visit the Motoscoche.swiss, website, customize your vehicle, enter your details, and proceed to pay the pre-order amount of CHF 100 with your credit card. The remaining balance of the bike’s price will be due 5 days before delivery.

You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, or in cash.

The pre-order is completed by paying CHF 100 via credit card on the Motosacoche.swiss website, which will confirm the successful receipt of your order via email.

The remaining balance of the bike’s price (minus the CHF 100) will be due 5 days before delivery, with three payment options available:

• Full Payment
• Consumer Credit (with one of our partners)

The full price of the bike (minus the CHF 100 deposit) must be paid 5 days before the bike's delivery.

Leasing is available only for businesses.

Delivery is scheduled within 4 months following the pre-order of your Type-A.

The Motosacoche Type-A, which offers motorized assistance up to 45 km/h, falls under the category of light motorcycles in class L1e-B according to Directive 168/2013. These vehicles are subject to specific legislation and require registration and insurance.

Motosacoche takes care of all the administrative work. Upon receiving your bike, we will order the license plate from the Cantonal Vehicle Office (OCV). The bike will be delivered with your registration plate.

S-pedelecs 45 km/h are registered vehicles. Insurance is mandatory. Liability insurance and personal injury coverage are obligatory and included in the price of the license plate.

We also offer optional insurance with our partners, Zurich or TCS, which covers incidents such as theft, destruction, and 24/7 roadside assistance.

Motosacoche offers a 3-year warranty on the frame, battery, and motor of its vehicle. An additional extension is available for the battery for 1 or 2 more years.

At the moment, it is only possible to purchase your vehicle in Switzerland and France.

If you reside in France:

After purchasing your vehicle for €14,890 (including taxes), you must visit the tax office to request a fiscal clearance certificate.

For this, you will need the following documents:

• Your purchase invoice
• The CE conformity certificate provided by Motosacoche
• Proof of identity
• Proof of address

After obtaining your fiscal clearance certificate, you must go to the prefecture with the following documents:

• Proof of identity
• Proof of address
• The fiscal clearance certificate
• Original purchase invoice (no registration date should appear on it)
• The CE conformity certificate provided by Motosacoche
• The registration application form (Cerfa n°13750*03)

You will receive your registration certificate within a few days after completing these steps.

A 45 km/h vehicle is a great asset for quick travel, but this speed requires certain safety features.

• A helmet is mandatory in Switzerland with the "EN 1078" standard. Full-face models with a plexiglass visor are highly recommended. In France, a helmet with the "ECE2205" standard is required.
• A thick jacket and reinforced pants are strongly recommended.
• Thin gloves are also recommended.
• Sneakers or ankle boots are essential for your safety.

The bike will be ready to use when you pick it up in the store or if you choose home delivery.

The Motosacoche Type-A is available in 4 colors: Tenebra Black, Alpine Grey, Stratus Grey, or Lux White.

The signature bar is customizable in 5 colors: Tenebra Black, Carbon, Sandgold, Titanium Grey, or Aluminum.

The chain guard is customizable in 4 colors: Black, Titanium Grey, Aluminum, or Sandgold.

The chain guard badge is available in 2 colors: Black or Gold.

It is also possible to add a front rack and/or a rear pannier rack.

Currently, the Motosacoche Type-A is the only model available, limited to 100 units.

A very exclusive series of 10 units exists, the "Founder's Edition," which retains the features of the 2021 Type-A with special finishing details not available in the catalog.

The power button is located on the handlebars of the Type-A. A 3-second press is enough to start it.

The Type-A battery can be charged directly on the bike via its charging port, or off the bike after removing the battery.

The assistance mode can be changed using the controls on the handlebars. A short press on the same button used for power turns it on.

A complete cleaning kit will be offered to you upon delivery to preserve and protect your vehicle. High-pressure jets should be avoided to prevent damaging the components.

No, your Motosacoche does not have a mount for a trailer.

Hub-integrated derailleurs offer increased reliability compared to a chain, while requiring minimal maintenance. This also prevents your hands or pants from getting dirty by touching the chain and/or grease-covered cassette.

Maintenance is reduced: no chain greasing, a very long lifespan, and absolute silence. Belt drive transmission offers a maintenance-free experience with great user comfort.

To preserve your bike and follow the user manual, you can perform regular maintenance yourself, such as changing tires, maintaining brake pads, etc. Fundamental modifications to the product, such as on the motor or battery, are prohibited and at the user’s own risk.

The stepless gear change allows for continuous movement between gear ratios, enabling you to pedal at the exact cadence you want. You can also change gears without pedaling.

Motosacoche offers a universal frame size that can be adjusted to the rider's build with seat post adjustment and various stem lengths available. The rider's height should be between 1.70m and 1.95m for comfortable use.

The Motosacoche Type-A has a secure lock under its charging port.

The battery should be stored in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, and never below 20% charge.

A light press on the brake lever switches the motor to energy recovery mode. This provides resistance that slows the vehicle down while recharging the battery.

The battery takes 7 hours to fully charge from a standard outlet.

Range is the number of kilometers you can travel on a full charge.

BMS stands for Battery Management System. This system protects the battery by preventing malfunctions and maximizing its lifespan.

Motosacoche offers a battery with 845 W/h capacity, one of the largest available on the market. The CellSwap technology allows for replacing a single defective cell instead of the entire pack.

The motor, placed at the center of the Type-A frame, evenly distributes weight between the front and rear axles.

The peak power is 1000 W. Our motor is one of the most powerful on the market. Developed entirely for the new Type-A, it is part of the MAG range and assembled in Switzerland. It is a Brushless synchronous motor with permanent magnets, and its "outrunner" architecture produces phenomenal torque at the slightest request.

No maintenance is required for this type of belt.

A first check is recommended after 100 km of riding to ensure everything is functioning well (free of charge), followed by every 2,000 km (CHF 290/maintenance) to ensure the bike is in good condition and to check safety elements.

Wear items such as tires, the saddle, discs, or brake pads are not covered by the warranty.
